The Commonwealth Department of Education and Training annually pays institutions to provide scholarships to domestic and international students pursuing higher degree research programmes.It is a fully financed scholarship scheme including $35,00 stipends for M.Sc. and Ph.D. Eligible in all countries.

Who can apply
The Australia Government Research Training Program stipend scholarship is eligible for all international students. The program mainly supports postgraduate research with academic merit as part of the selection process.How to apply
Commencing students:To ensure your consideration, select the appropriate boxes in the admissions application stating your interest in scholarships.
Continuing Students:
Fill out and submit the ""Request for a Current ANU Student to be Considered for an HDR Scholarship"" form to your Academic College.
Working outside of the eligible HDR programme:
Notify your Delegated Authority and Chair of Panel of your external work arrangements in writing, together with your HDR programme. This should be completed when commencing at ANU or within 20 working days of beginning external work.
